Okay so you have read all these amazing global education resources and you are still hungry for more. This section has the B-sides. Sometimes I’ve only looked at them and never really used them in my teaching, or else I think they don’t have as strong a relevance to this guide as I would optimally hope. But here they are anyway!
1. The Global Education Network
- What’s special about this one? This is sponsored by the British Council and maintained by experts.
- Why I didn’t mention it before? This doesn’t have a lot of classroom tools but is totally relevant.

2. The Pulitzer Center’s Global Gateway
- What’s special about this one? This contains lesson plans and units associated with specific journalistic articles.
- Why I didn’t mention it before? This is a subset of the section I mentioned earlier but has a trove of teacher resources that

3. National Geographic’s Explorers Classroom
- What’s special about this one? This offers live and recorded events that engage students in real-world, important global issues.
- Why I didn’t mention it before? I mentioned Nat Geo, but this one is a useful system of connecting classrooms to experts in the field.

4. The World’s Largest Lesson
- What’s special about this one? This resource is all about the UN’s SDGs, and provides lessons for all ages, helping students feel connected to these issues.
